Returns & Back-Orders Policy
Back Order Policy
Retail Customers: When any item is put on backorder at Skull & Barrel Co., we will email you and ask which remedial action you would like us to take.
What is a "remedial action": It means we will ship it out any backordered items as soon as they are restocked or give you store credit or refund the amount for that item. Which remedial action taken will be YOUR choice!
Shipping cost differences will not be refunded or credited in any way.
If the value of the merchandise is under $5.00 OR the product as been discontinued, we will provide remedial action once everything clears the banks/processors.
Return/Damage Policy:
Contact us at RETURNS@SKULLANDBARREL.COM with the following information: Date of order, date received, Invoice number, if damaged please include a picture(s) (please no zip files). Report any damaged or missing items within ten (10) days of receipt of order (when you receive it) so that we can help remediate the issue and credit your account.
IF a return is required at this point, we will email you an RMA# (Returned Merchandise Authorization Number)
All returns should have “RETURNS DEPT.” written clearly on the outside of the shipping container (box or envelope, etc) along with the RMA #.
Inside the box, include the order number that this item was from so that we can properly credit your account. No merchandise will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return such merchandise. (See Refused Orders below)
Oils that have been transferred into any other than the original container(s) are NOT considered to be in resalable condition.
Discontinued and Final Sale items are not credited.
Shipping cost differences will not be refunded or credited in any way.
Skull & Barrel Co. accepts returned items that are in resalable condition purchased no less than 3 months from the ORDER DATE.
Refused orders that are returned will be charged a return shipping fee (the least expensive) plus a $5 fee. Returns over 3 months will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
Due to the increase in shipping costs we reserve the right to bill your account for all shipping fees billed to us due to a package being returned or refused without prior approval. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU RECEIVE PRIOR APPROVAL! We are not trying to make it difficult, we just don't want anything lost in the mail or further damaged while being returned.
Filing of damage claims or missing package claims with the shipping provider (UPS, US Postal Service, Fed Ex, Etc…) will be the responsibility of Skull & Barrel Co.
If your package does NOT ARRIVE or something was damaged - PLEASE LET US KNOW IMMEDIATELY!
